Default Torque arm ?'s

UMI, Spohn, and BMR.

Why don't any of these sponsors' tunnel mounted torque arms have a multiple hole adjustment at the front pivot point where the torque arm bolts to the x-member? I know that space is limited with the drive shaft and tunnel, but this type of adjustment is necessary for adjusting instant center. I am going to give a local machine shop specs to cut a set for me.

Midwest Chassis has the adjustments that I speak of, but it won't work with my Spohn torque arm.

I'm trying to get a 600+ hp, 3600# car to hook on a 26-10.50.

I'm going to drill another set of holes in the rear mount. My tq arm is angled down toward the front of the car, but adjusted as far up in the front as it can be adjusted. My LCA have a slight up angle using the middle hole. I'll be happy when I get this to consistantly hook. The best that I can do for my ic without having bad lca angles is right around the middle of the drivers seat.

On a full weight car, where would be a good starting place for my instant center?
