Mild steel or chrome moly for a driveshaft?
My stock aluminum driveshaft finally bit the dust last Friday at the track. At least I got a new best first. What do you guys recommend chrome moly of mild steel. I'm sure the CM shaft would be lighter, but how much?

I got a Drive shaft from Speed inc>>>>>
I blew my intire rear end apart, twisted the tranny yoke, blew the rear yoke in 1/2, twisted 2 30 spline axles, blew pinion gear, blew EVERYTHING apart, I mean EVERYTHING!!!!!!! The only thing that didnt take any harm was the Speed inc drive shaft. CM, and VERY strong!
I recomend calling tom he will hook you up.

Alum is alum, It doesnt mean because it is bigger it is better. The walls are the same size, then it prob wont make much differance.
Do it right the first time, Billit 1350 yokes, and a good drive shaft.

I've got a Denny's nitrous ready driveshaft coming. If you have aluminum check out what's left of mine in this thread.
