Track Night
I'm headed down to Bradenton motorsports park with a couple friends and some of the guys from F-bodyinc on May 7th to see what my car will do with all the new mods. I'd like to head down there as early as possible to get some quick runs in. If anyone is interested in going or meeting up some place and then crusing down let me know.

i didnt see this post until just now, but i was there in my black TA. the track was garbage (for me) and the fact two slick cars stuck it in the wall didnt help me out. i made two hits and both blew the tires right off the bat. atleast i hope it was teh track. i have never seen BMP so poorly preped. there were also a million imports doing rev limitor launches destroying the launch pad.
wish i knew about this, i would have come up and said hi.

John, Yea, I saw your car there. Was wondering if you were on here.
The track was slick, and seeing those 2 hit the wall proved it. Well, at least the track was fine for some, but not others. I was stationed in Louisiana for 14 years and got spoiled by Red River Raceway, a fresh track with the entire pit area paved. A first class track I am going to miss. Bradenton reminded me of the track in Hallsville, TX where everything was nothing but dust and tumbleweeds. I really hate the dirt pits.
Matt, I could not break any quicker than 13.2, and was averaging 13.5. The boy did get his down to a 16.2, but had a lot of 17 sec runs. We really have to get him a real car now.

i have gone 1.3 60' at BMP on a test and tune night. they know how to prep it when they need to. at this point, i wont be going to any more TNT. i dont feel like going sideways in my car.
its runday sundays or track events for me from now on.

i really like the quiet slp catback. it doesnt get the attention and thats a good thing for me. thanks for the compliments. at the end of the summer, i am going to take it to the body shop to clean up a few boogers in teh paint from over the years.
