Default finally gettin caged

well after a long wait because my welder was in florida its finally goin to have the cage welded in loadin it up on the trailer to be at his house at 9 tomoorow mornin. any small things we should know before we do it?

Careful when welding in the downbars on the driver side, the person installing mine forgot and we had a small, but annoying fire. Yeah the fuel lines are plastic right there.

Also keep in mind you want to weld the cage in VERY SLOWLY or you can actually warp your car. Ive worked on high end race cars for years and ive seen several cars actually have to go on the frame machine because they welded the roll cage in and warped the car. Especally a fbody, and that goes double for ttop cars. Just remember to get the car level first, and let your welds cool or you will cause some damage.

Its not something alot of people ever think about, and its really so common

alright i think he should no how to do it its our friend thats weldin it in but hes a pro does it everyday of his life. ill still let him know though dont want it messed up
