Take it to a good shop with a press, and you will not destroy them. If they are working fine, do not spend un needed $$$.

There are plenty of dealers, that are sponsors here, check EEP (exotic perf plus).

i figured out i have (i guess) one of the rarer moser 12s, with o rings machined into the axle bearings to seal to the housing. apparently i can only get them through moser. they are exactly like production ones i can buy at o reilly except for the o ring. if i take the o ring out there doesnt seem to be any play with the axle installed. and there is an inner seal. my question is can i just user the ones from o reilly without the o ring and RTV it on?

moser told me i can use bearings without the o ring. they said tell them its for a 70 torino. i did notice something odd with the new bearings. theres a small spacer thats pressed on the inside side of the axle right after the bearing. the new one it thicker and wont fit. can i leave it out?
