Twin Turbo Sizing question
I posted this on the Vette forum, as twin rearmounts are moreof a vette thing that F-bodys, but there are many more DIY'er's here, I thought you might have some input.
On an A4 with 3200 stall and 3.42 gears, How well would a pair Precision SC44 (58mm compressor, .63 a/r T3 turbine, journal bearing) spool and work on a 5.7L or 6.0L engine using Z06 manifolds, No cats, stock 2.5" mid pipe, and 2.5" turbine feed pipes from h-pipe back?
My old car ran a PT76GTQ which was a bit laggy out of the hole in 1st (2.73 gear, 3400stall) Used 3" "Y" pipe to turbine and 3" charge pipe. I would like to build another system, and either use a slightly smaller single system for better response, or smaller twins. Thoughts, suggestions?
Though there are nice kits on the market, I'm a good fabricator and always on a tight budget, so buying an APS or TTiX kit are not options.

im no expert, but looking i searched on google and the say the Precision SC44 reaches full spool @ 4000 RPM but that's on import applications.........
i personally plan on using TD06-20g's....

sounds like a great project! have you got any info on your preivous project? i take it you have seen stealth's T88 rear mount vett?
might also be worth looking on here at Zombie's car. he is currently running a SX80 (i think) with a 'quick spool' valve. seems to be working prety well for him (very very close to the 9s).
for twins how about GT28s? they work well on the C6 APS kit so should work pretty well on a rear setup.
Cheers
Chris.
