Has anyone used Russell/Edelbrock fuel system for ls conversion
I was thinking of using the walbro gsl-392 pump and wix vette fileter like a lot of you are doing seems to be a good way to go.
Russell has a complete ls1 set up (641600) and looks to be a similar set up with lines and fitting.
I would like to know if anyone here is running them? how do you like them and have you had any problems?
I can get them from Russell for about $475 and dont have to waste time trying to piece it together.
I was looking at the rockauto tanks but money is a bit tight and thought this maybe a good way to go.
Please thought or comments......

Looks like a nice kit.
I have to wonder if you couldn't do better price wise piecing it out yourself. Those 90° AN connectors can get pricey. Wouldn't want to buy more of those than you need.
But I understand the value of time.

I know what you mean. That is why I am asking as It looks to be a complete kit. Not sure if you will use all the fittings. It does say you will need to but a male -6 that I already have so no biggie their.

here's the setup in my '71 nova. i used the walbro pump, 'vette filter/regulator, and a combo of steel-braided and aluminum hard line. i'm also running a summit aluminum fuel cell:
also note that the return line does NOT go to the sump, but rather on a return fitting at the top of the cell - it was just easier to draw like that.

vette fpr was like $35 through a big online auto parts store (hint: rhymes with bock lotto), pump and mount kit were $110 through ballenger motorsports (i'm pretty sure they're a sponsor now), and the fittings/filter were about $150 total from a hi-po online store (sounds like rum-it). and i used approx. 20' of braided line and 10' of alum. hard line.

Looks like a solid kit, if you are not into the pieceing a kit together, dicking around from 3 vendors, I'd do it if I had to again. I think thats what it is coming down to. If you can buy everything from 1 vendor. The initial price may seem higher until you add up shipping charges from 3 vendors, 3x the GST, etc etc.

LS1 Chevelle--- That was my thought as well.
I dont mind piecing it together its buying the wrong parts waititng it all ads up. I was able to work out a deal down to $450 which is much less than Summit.
If anyone wants in pm me. I will place a order by the end of the week. I may hold off a bit longer if Fast will update us.

Man thats a nice deal...How Much is it though??? I cant seem to find the products price. I Just won an aeromotive fuel pump on Ebay today. I still need to get the braided lines, regulator, tank sump, fuel rails, and the hardware.

Apologies for bumping a super old thread, but wondering how these kits are working.
From what I understand the LS1 needs ~58-60lbs of pressure at the injectors.
How in the world does this kit work if the fuel pump included is rated for 45psi max?
What am I missing here? Someone please englightmen me....
