Default Question for madman or another chassis shop

Im in the process of finishing up my narrowed 9", everything is going together perfect but I have a technical question. Does it matter if my sway bar (Custom one Im making out of 1.375" x .250 wall 4130 tube) is mounted slightly behind the centerline of my rear axle, say 1.5"? I ordered the narrowed rear from strange sans the brackets, which I punched, cut and put on, but they put the drain plug right in the way, I could cut it off but It seems to be a good placement otherwise. I'm just wondering if there will be any adverse effects having it slightly behind the tube, and running longer arms to mount the tie rods to.

Thanks
Christian.

youll be fine if its not diectly inline with the tube. Most cars dont have the bracket on the dead centerline. As long as the tabs are monted in a way where the tie rods dont come in contact with the housing or get in a bind, you'll be fine.
