Default Circle D Thanks. 7.7 Stock!!!

Well i took the car out for the first time. I just bought the car off another member as a roller. It has a stock 99 ls1 engine. everything engine wise is stock. Has a k&n filter, circle-d 4-c converter, shift kit. Have 26" slicks on the back and skinnies up front. 200lbs in weight reduction.

330ft 5.06 5.01
1/8 et 7.84 7.79
1/8 mph 89.21 89.25

All in all I was only planning on running mid 8s, Maybe low 8s. Pretty pleased with the results.

Thanks to Circle D

Nice times! If I could do it over my first mod would have been a converter as well!

Very very nice. 200 lbs of weight reduction huh? So what's your race weight? Totally stock exhaust and everything?

7's and 89 mph in the 1/8 miles is wickedly fast for a stock car even at 200 lbs reduction. even with slicks. its amazing what a stall can do heh.

with a 1/8 times like that you could possibly hit 11's if you still keep the trap speed up.

Nicely done!!!

And I think GXPPOWER means 11's. He should be a very low 12 now.

Congrats on the new results!!! It definitely has 11s in it.

FWIW- We ran mid 11s with our Circle D 4C and all the bolt-ons. It pulled a 1.59 60ft in good air at full weight (minus spare and jack).

That's sweet man!

Well i had the car out sunday to iowa speedway. I was only able to pull off a 7.9 at 86mph with a 1.77 60ft. It was a little warmer out and traction was down cause it was a unpreped track. I think i have more than 200lbs in weight reduction. adding it all up i'm probably around 300-400lbs.
I am taking the car to midnight madness at eddyville raceway this coming friday and gonna try launching it a little higher. I only stalled it to 1800 or so all those runs or less. Gonna see how much the slicks and stock rear will take.

The 4C likes to be brought up on the brake. Push it as high as the tires can take it. Good luck and keep us updated.
