Can I cut the fuel line crossover to replace with a braided line? I changed over from a truck intake to a LS intake and the fuel line is about 4 inches above the manifold.

If so, what size do I use and are special fittings needed?

why not get a fuel rail from an LS1 car? I would assume you could find one cheap and it seems it would be easier.
