Default driveshaft bushing

does anyone know if i can replace it without taking the transmission out? can i just take out the torque arm, ds, and remove the tail shaft housing? which one is the best replacement?

You can remove just the tail housing. The RSG bushing is the only one out there I know of. Tick sells it cheaper than RSG.

Just a FYI some people, myself included had that new bushing walk but I think we were the exceptions.

Make sure you install it properly and that you no underlying drivetrain vibrations/issues that may cause it to walk.

Default Bushing tool

I don't know if you guys know this but KD Tools makes a special tool for removing and installing the bushing with out having to pull the trans tail housing seriously it took me about 20 min to do it with this tool. Just look it up its listed as a bushing removal tool for t350 and t400 transmissions but works the same on our t-56's. If your interested I'm selling mine for 50.00, believe me its worth it.
