Default 100K....So What Next?

My tride and true 1993 Trans Am just turned 100,000. I once heard that theese transmissions tend to go out about this mileage, but it still seems to be working fine. Was this previous information inaccurate, or is the worst still comming?

Thats a hard question. I have persoanl cars with the 700r4 cross 160000 without issue but depends on alotta things , service interval. how you drive. race etc etc. No crystal ***** on this on

173k on my trans...*knock on wood*

Putting a shift kit in it next week lol Already has a cooler.
