Default going to have a LS1 TA towed need advice

hey I'm going to drive 6 hours away to pickup a TA that's not 100% drivable. I'm going to use a tow bar instead of a trailer cause I get ahold of a free one. All I want to know what all should I do to remove tow the car

me and some friends towed one of their TA's numerous times with a tow strap and just looped it around the frame and k member. not wise to do for a 6hr trip, we only had to go 20 miles and it took over an hour. so i'd vote for getting a cheap trailer, it'll save time and more importantly risks.
