The shop doing the tune on my GTA (among other things) found out that the ecm/pcm I bought used (supposed to be for a 01 Trans Am) was actually a 99-02 truck ecm. They got the car to run, but neither fan would turn on. The harness is from Speartech and has the fan outputs on it run to a set of relays. I was just thinking that the trucks didn't use electric fans, right? Would this cause my wired in fans not to work?

Also - can the f-body OS be flashed on one of these pcms?

The fans will work, they will have to be enabled in the tune though. And yes the f-body OS can be flashed onto that PCM
