Default Short Block Storage

I may be going to pick up a shortbock for the camaro.. Im probably going to get is saturday but wont be ready for it to be installed for a few weeks. what is the best way for me to transport it do i need to build a frame for it out of wood Anyone have any dimensions. i dont have a garage so what is the best way i could store it to keep the weather out of it.

Might want to invest in a LS engine storage stand and valley lift plate. Both can be found on ebay for cheap.

I've never done it with an LS1 but SBCs and BBCs will fit on these, if you're in a jam:

Yea i just need something that i can sit it on to put it in the back of a truck so it doesnt slide and whatnot i dont believe it has an oil pan on it...
