After my walbro pump install, I turned my key on and now my gauge reads empty. I put fuel in to make sure it really wasn't empty, and stills reads empty. It worked fine before the install. My car is a 98 camaro, I don't know if its different. It has the 4 wire connector inside the tank, with power and ground to pump and 2 purple wires to the fuel level sensor. The power and ground for the pump are just running out the top of the sending unit through grommets and goop, so the only wires connected to the original connector is the two purple wires. Am I missing something here? Any help would be appreciated, I'm trying to totally finish my turbo build this weekend, but this damn gauge is giving me trouble.
