01 v6 camaro not starting...help!
my 2001 camaro v6 (3800II) with 58k miles.
Everything was fine when i parked it yesterday, but when i went to start it today, idled for a minute or two but died.
I tried this 3 or 4 times but no luck and now it doesn't start.
The "oil change" light is on and there aren't any codes that show up on hand held scanner.
I changed plugs, wires last summer and last oil change was 2k miles ago.
what could it be

The car started yesterday for 2 short trips around the neiborhood.
This morning it started once but the rpm's jumped to 1200 and car died within few seconds.
It sounds like it will crank but not turn over....
... the puel pump primes and battery is good.

Sounds like your fuel pump might be going out. Mine did this same thing for about 2 weeks, where it would do the weird start and jump up in RPM's then it was fine, then one day it just never started again.... Took it to a shop and they changed it out by removing the rear axle... I didn't want to cut the backseat area up....

I would check fuel pressure to make sure the pump is working right. After that, change out the ignition relay. Turned out my stock fuel pump was fine and it was just a relay when I was having starting issues. I imagine the V6 probably uses the same relays so it will be prone to the same issues.
