Need Help with with a problem!
I am having a problem with my 02 z28. Story is.... I truely baby this thing and i really don't dog the **** out of it so i need helpo with this beyond aggrevating problem that i cant figure out. When i am shifting gears, Sometimes my rpms will float between 1700-2000 (only when im in neutral) and stay there, depending on how fast im going. If i press in my clutch (in neutral) they will drop to normal (800-1200). Honest to god...if its hot outside its a lot less likely to do it but as soon as it rains or is cool/cold out, my car freaks out with this. My car threw a code which is always on and it says Secondary Air Injection System. help me with this before i drive it into something! any suggestions at all....

oh ok... before you edited your original post, it said " mass air flow secondary injection".
thats what did not make sense to me...
now for your issue?
when you first start the car cold, can you hear the air pump operating? if not, check the fuse, it may be blown out...
if the fuse is blown or not, i would trace the wiring to the fuse box to look for any open connections...
also make sure all the rubber lines going from the pump to your engine are intact and not broken or loose...sometimes the cheap plastic clips that hold them in place will break off and cause a leak in the system...
