28x10.5/28x10.5w????
can you run either tire without rubbing on a stock 93-02 rear quarters without rolling???whats the difference with the W being a wider tire and all..will that compromise interference with the body or not? would you recommend the non W or W tire for better performance

W tire is a TON wider, and will require the fender to be rolled, and the inner fender to be beat in alot. Almost to the point that you need a minitub done.
Regular 28x10.5 tire will fit, only trouble you may have is the bottom of the bumper cover might rub a little, and you will have to trim the inner portion of that. The inner fender will need to be beat in some.
S tire, which is a stiff sidewall version of the 28x10.5 tire also fits about the same as the regular 28x10.5 tire, but they seem to distort and grow a little less with the stiff sidewall, and tend to work better with heavier cars.

I have not ran the 28x10.5W's, however I have ran the Hooiser 29x10.5W's which needed a mini-tubbing to fit.
This season I switched to the 28x10.5 Stiff tire. I found that the sidewalls were not lasting very long with the W tire, so Hooiser said to try the 28 Stiff.
Regarding the W, both Hoosier and M/T told me (heavy car with a BBC) that the traction benefits of a W did not offset the sidewall benefits of having a stiff sidewall tire.

I have a set of MT 28x10.5W's on my car as I got a very good deal on them. They're close but they fit without a minitub job. My lips are rolled and the inner fenders are beat in a bit. Just remember it takes more power to turn the 10.5w's rather than just plain 10.5's
