this may be a long shot i bought my car with heads and cam i put the ls6 valley cover on it yesterday and i was looking at the cam and there were some numbers between the lobes 09.233 and 10302 is there anyway to tell what size cam it is i really dont want to pull the front cover any help would be great

Probably not.

The previous owner didnt give you the cam card for the camshaft? Thats not good.

The only way is to pull the front cover and timing gear off the cam and getting the #'s off of the nose of the cam.
