Default Manual Torque Convertor Lock Up Switch

Does anyone have a write up or know where I can get a write up on doing the manual switch mod to my torque convertor?

Has anyone here done the mod? If so what did you think of it?

Thanks ahead, Dave

There are people that know how to do this, but if they tell you, then they would have to kill you.

tap in to pin # 42 I believe...tan with a black stripe in the red connector. Run one end to an on/off switch and then to a ground

Thanks for the help bud, I'll give that a shot after I see if your Pin 42 is the pin out.

Something is making me think that the 98's were different. I know there was some mod I remember reading about a while back that had a different wire on the 98's than the 99-02's. Mabey that was the tach wire I'm thinking of?
