Default iPhone Leather Holder??????

Does anyone know if the screen could be damaged from the ones that have a magnetic type of flat to close the case? Im talking about the phone holders that have a magnet in between the leather to make it shut close.
I bought one for the phone but It seems that the screen tends to lock up and I think its due to the magnet/.
anyone have any input on this? or any experience?

thanks

Magnet should not have any effect on it, especially if its designed for the iPhone. if your having phone issues get it warrantied.

its not specifically for the iPhone, I think its for a blackberry.
I dont know if placing a magnet near the screen will cause some sort of distortion just like it happens with televisions if a magnet is placed near the image.

Have you upgraded the software on the phone? Also you should do a hard reset every now and then.

no I have not upgraded it, But but I have done a few Hard Resets to it because of that/
I guess its safe to use the holder since I gather that it does not affect the LCD screen of the iphone.
