Default Alright you PRO trans guys, what breaks these parts?

First time it broke it was a 3-4 clutch pack(Z pack)

Second time it was the sprag(29 element)

This last time it stripped the lugs in the input drum.

I am all ears. Am I at the limit? Seeing as its breaking hard parts I dont see where the builder is at fault.

Well enough power can break anything but beyond that.

1-excessive line presure
2-blocked accumulators
3-neutral drops lol

But to much line would be my guess. With the harness unplugged from the trans check the line presure with a guage IMO 230 psi should be max. Preferably 220 .

#1....Line pressure is changed in the ecm correct or is it done in the valve body? Cant the pump spring be changed?

#2..This happened rolling along about 30 mph cruising..I put the gas pedal on the floor, it downshifted to 1st the immediately to second then BAM! it broke.

#3.....I was also told by my builder the same thing, never EVER done that, I know better. I was a 12 year ASE cert dealer technician.....I know what that does.

Just curious, I am done running the car at the track. Just gonna enjoy it.

the pcm can only vary the line curve between 0 and max but cannot exceed the max. Max is what you would get at WOT and also what you would see with the trans harness unplugged.
Beleave it or not I have see even the addition of only a boost valve make it too high. I would get a guage on the port just above linkage drivers side make sure its can read at least 300 psi and the hose can handle it also. Unplug harness from trans and start car look at what line is.
