Default Exhaust Question

Has anybody thought or tried to put a merge collector on the exhaust after it goes over the rear end, then possibly adding dual 1 chamber flowmasters before the tips. Already have a cutoff when I need to play. Looked under a buddies Shelby that is the way the exhaust is set up sounds good just wondering.

The Shelby is actually a dual set up just!!!

I dunno man. I'd just stick with either a conventional setup or go true duals peronsally. I couldn't really see the point of going 2 into 1 and then back to 2.

True dauls would be tough beacuse I am using a chassis mount TA space is really limited as we all know. If you look at a conventional setup like the Magnaflow system I am running now its like a Y pipe into I pipe and comes out as duals on both sides of the single muffler.
