black gunk on oil dipstick mixed in with oil on the stick!!!

black gunk on oil dipstick mixed in with oil on the stick!!! I took out my oil dipstick to check the oil level, when I pulled it out the oil was clear but on some parts it had black gunk on the oil and on the dipstick. Any ideas of what it can be and do you guys reccomend seafoaming it?
