Default Cam/Spring question?? help

i have a 2001 LQ4 with the 317 heads on it and was thinging of doing a cam swap....my question is how much lift can the stock springs handle

With any performance/aftermarket camshaft you NEED to install new springs..end of story.

219/233 @ 0.050 - 553/536 lift - 109LSA

I would definitely not try to run that cam on stock springs.
