Wondering what technics and tools used to take off the underdrive pulley.

You need a pulley removal tool.

You can rent/borrow one at Advance Auto parts and I think Auto Zone as well.

You need to use one, no way around it.

dont mean to get off course but how do you use the puller? do you put it on the hub than turn it clockwise?
