Default Do I need to fuse the power for the ECM(computer)?

I'm getting ready to put the ECM(computer) into my '66 Chevelle and hook up the battery. The ECM is from a '01 Camaro if it matters. Before I do, is it necessary to fuse the red and orange wires to the ECM? One is hot all times and the other is hot with IGN on. Do either of these need to be fused?
Any info is appreciated.

You should not hook anything, sans the starter, to the battery w/o a fuse. My *guess* is that a 20amp should be fine and is likely the amp the factory used.

I used a 30amp relay from ignition switch hot, because while I had the key in ACC for about 30min, I actually burned through the original ignition wire!

Relay costs a dollar or two, replacing burned wires (luckily no other damage!!!) or even worse = sucky!!

Always...that way if it grounds to the frame or you touch a couple wires together on accident it blows the fuse and not your ecm.
