Default Grinding calipers Need help now please!

Im grinding the calipers for drag rims right now! How much clearance do i actually need??? Caliper to rim????? Doing this right now need help!

Um...last time I saw your car in person, it had weld drag stars on the rear....how in the world are you just now grinding???

LOL! Im switching to Greg Weld stars and 27x10.5 QTPs, the pro stars fit fine w/o grinding. I just need to know how much space in between the rim and caliper is needed? If it rolls free is it good to go??

i believe if it spins freely it should be good, there's nothing else that will make it bind up, if you get a chance i would like to see what it looks like after the wheels are on it cuz i'm looking at the same ones, thanks

If you have LS1 brakes theres NO chance it will work! I got them on but took alot of time and grinding, but the calipers still look stout and the look was worth it imo. I did wear through the very end of the caliper bolt holes but the bolts dont reach in that far so its all good.
