That's gonna be tuff bud. I'd say about $3k would open up some doors, if you weren't pick that is. Not that you can't find cars for $1k but ones that are reliable for 100 miles of driving a day... dunno.

97 maxima: 200k miles: Runs Perfect: 6 cyl: Ac/heat works perfect: Clean in side and out: New tires
