Default I'm sick of exhaust leaks

So last summer I installed headers, catted-y, and a magnaflow catback and its done nothing but leak. It sounds great but I can always hear the rustling/woosh sound of leaking under the car at medium to light acceleration.

I've struggled with U-clamps, upgraded to nice 3" band clamps, added exhaust sealant under the band clamps... still leaks. I'm not imagining it either, I have laid under the car with a buddy covering the tail pipes. I'm very mechanically capable, but I've just run out of ideas.

I have beginner welding skills, and would probably fail upside down under the car. Can anyone recommend a place that will weld up all the joints/leaks nicely for me? I'm in Marlborough, MA and would prefer something local, but willing to drive for a forum member/sponsor to do the work.

Any advice would be great, I drive 90 miles a day and am sick of the sound.

I wouldn't weld the y-pipe to the headers but the rest is easy enough to do.If you did use those cheasy U-clamps to start then you probly just have to weld everything because they screw the pipes up.

Will any old Midas or comparable shop do it? Or should I come visit you Slowhawk?

I've heard those places wont work on aftermarket exhaust sometimes.

this gets a little messy and can be a pain to remove when the time comes but it seals the pipes all up. use the red rtv stuff....dab it around the male portion of the exhaust and than slide the y pipe over it and same thing for the intermediate pipe. after that..dab somemore around the outside of the pipes as needed. it will not leak. ive done it on a couple cars and it works and will hold the temp and not melt away.
like others said...dont weld the pipes cause if the time ever comes where ya need to remove them, you'll need to hack away.
