Harlan shiftlight I just put in a harlan shiftlight, I took it apart and mounted it between the speedo and tach in the cluster. Anyway it came with a diode taped to the paper, what the hell is this for? I hooked it up tonight and gets power and all I just havent had a chance to set it and take it for a spin. It says something about using it across a relay..idk

yeah...those instructions are different from the ones i have. Even in those instructions it never says exactly when to place the dip switches, before or after you hold the button to set? I know it works cause it is set a 5800 right now. Every time I try to set it another way it gives me the error flash. This thing is seriously pissing my off
