lightest rear wheels
who makes the lightest rear wheels?
has to be direct fit on a ls1.
price and wieght is good.
dot legal or not it dosnt matter.
I want members experience, not a company saying my wheel wieghs 10lbs.I know bogart, weld, billet specialty ,ccw have some light wheels I just dont know the exact weight.im leaning to the bogart floyds but lighter is better and dot is even better.

In 15'a 16's and 17's, our Bogart's will be the lightest direct fit wheel.
I can offer you this in either our drag series which are designed for drag use OR I can build you any of those dimensions in our road race series wheel which are durable enough to be used in road race conditions (more stressful than street use).
Obviously the drag wheels will be the lighest of all designs.
No manufactures are listed DOT that I'm aware of.
I understand you didn't ask for a company, but I can offer you best information as it's not second hand.

Lance,
I'm working on a new setup as well. Details will follow in a few minutes. These will be a street style wheel. Look for the new post.
To the poster, I wouldn't recommend that small of a wheel width unless you're using abnormally smaller (wide) tires than what most easily fit on the car.
Give me a call on Monday, I'd be happy to discuss your options in greater detail.

I have Bogart Bolted R/T's. I never got to weigh them though but for whatever it's worth; they're light as hell haha.
I would highly recommend buying from Steve at SJM. Awesome customer service and a top quality product.
