hello, a friend of mine has a 2006 rst truck with the 4.8 and manual tranny. he is wanting to buy the lq9 out of my s10.

it is a 05 caddy motor, will his clutch and flywheel bolt up to my crank? that is the only hitch we are having right. thanks in advance.

i would say they are the same... I have a 08 LY6 crank in my M6, and the only thing I can say is make sure you put a pilot bearing in it.

but again, I think they are the same... GM is pretty smart when it comes to things like this.

yes it will work only if it were a 01 orolder lq4 would it not work as they have a longer crank
