Cool 5.3 aluminum L33 IN THE GARAGE...WHAT TO DO?

So I have a 70,000 mile complete aluminum l33 5.3 in the garage. Heres my plan. Its going in a 91 fox coupe, Ive been a ford guy forever, however i have owned an 01 ss camaro, a 69 z28, and a 99 silverado in the past. Ive had easily 20 turdstangs though.
anyway, im considering flipped manifolds and mpt70 turbo, yadda yadda.
I started thinking though my 91 coupe doesnt way ****. This motor makes 310hp stock and already has ls6 heads and is a light motor.
What are typical numbers for this motor with mods? Its already 9.9:1 comp and has decent flowing 799 heads.
I dont want to pull the heads.
What would you guys do? All mods considered but heads stay on!
Intakes cams exhaust is all good!
Just lookin for a low 10 second ride the cheapest way possible.
Also labor is of no concern i do all my own work, so turbo or not I will do everything.
Enlighten me bowtie boys what do u think this baby z06 motor can do!

Oh and proven combos are always nice to see!

zo6 cam and valve springs
ls6 intake with ported TB
60# injectors

do a search on the ford fairmont that parish8 built it went something like 9.49 with a 5.3 with a zo6 cam and a t70

edit here are some threads on the fairmont

its just too damn tempting not to go that route, I wonder how the extra compression and better flowing heads will come into play....

extra compression equals more torque.. if you keep the higher compression and use 80# injectors and run e85 the torque would be pretty good

We did a cool L33 build with just a LS6 cam and good springs. Also a stock truck intake or ls1 intake would be just fine for low 10 second passes, save some more money that way.

Check the thread.

He has put 5k miles on it since then and it likes it just fine. He just got a set of paddles for the dunes too. Full boost is at about 3400-3600, its nearly instant on a downshift. Feels like it has a big blower lol.

I think im just gonna turbo the fcker! I dont own anything not boosted now so why not. Im interested in using the combo of megasquirt to tune fuel and msd 6010 to control spark, paired with a wideband & i should be good to go as far as making the engine run and be tuned on the cheap! I like the looks of hptuners but for less money i can make this thing run & tune it without hunting down a factory harness to modify. Anybody gone this route? Seems good in theory, real life i dont know?

Nice engine choice. Welcome to the club. Hopefully mine will be running by the end of the week.

Megasquirt 3 will be out soon and it will be able to control the spark.
