Generation III External Engine - ORY plus stock headers?

I have a 98 Camaro z28 and wanted to know if SLP is the only company that makes a y-pipe that fits on stock headers

That is the route I am going for now and getting this slow pig re-tuned so it makes somewhat stock LS1 power.

I'm not trying to tell you how to mod your car because to each their own, and I know every situation is different. However, you do know that if you choose to go LT's down the road that the Y-pipe you will spend x amount of money on to put on your stock manifolds will be useless. Why not wait and get a set of LT's and a matching Y later when you have the money to do it "right" the first time.
I only say that because you may just be looking for better sound or so forth and in that case go for it, but if your looking for gains you will be sorely disappointed. This is all IMO though.
Plus, if expense is a problem, why not go with pacesetter LT's and a texas speed ory (the pacesetter fits like junk from previous experience, they may have fixed it idk). Just my $.02 though.

Not sure about the OP's case, but in mine I plan on going Longtubes at a later date.
However, I have a damaged Y pipe(cats) and of course that could be costing me with my tune, if you want to call it that(that is another ordeal thanks to the person who tuned it when the old owner had it). So right now I need something now and an OR Y is cheaper so I can get this tune fixed despite me really wanting LT's.

Well decided to just gut the other cat to save money and use that for LT's at a later date. Now i just have to get this crappy tune the previous owner/tuner did fixed.
