Default A/C Fan Blows, Just Not Into Cabin

Wondering if anyone has had this problem before......
I left on a trip recently on a hot day, and everything was fine with the A/C. About thirty miles out of town, I began to feel (very) warm. I turned up the fan speed, and while it increased the flow, it just was'nt blowing very hard at all. I turned it up to 4, and you could hear the fan roaring away behind the dash, but the air was still just barely coming out. At my next stop, I checked under the hood, and everything was icy cold. Also tried other settings (defrost, upper vents, lower vents, etc,) and still plenty of fan noise, but almost no blow out the vents. It was like this all the way to the end of my trip, but the next day, it worked normally, so I forgot about it. Well, last week, I made the same trip, and after three weeks of working perfectly in June weather, it happened again, only thankfully when I was almost home. Later that night, after it sat, it was back to normal. Anyone have any ideas?

Sounds like the vacum line on the rear of your intake manifold is unplugged..that is what controls your selection of the vents.
