Default stage III question

I have a chance at a great deal on GTP stage III 243 heads mil 59.3cc with 2.08''/1.6'' Ferra valves. I know on a stock LS1 those valves are pushing the limit so I was wandering if it would be a good idea to change them out for 2.50'' for the intake and haven't decided on the exhaust. If I had to though would the heads fit as are?

Are you running stock because if I get what you are saying you are going from a 2.08" valve intake to a 2.5" which is bigger and really you haven't said what your set up is. If your running stock and you can get away with out giving up ur heads these heads would be good for a big cam. 243's stage 3 have to be flowing 340+ intake and 270+ exhaust. These heads on a stock application are worthless.

I meant 2.05" intake woops I am just going to run the stage II I figure that combo would be better for my stock bottom end applications, plan on running the VRX 3 soon so stage III would be to much.
