Use tailshaft for pinion angle?????
I am trying to get the pinion angle setup since I put the stock springs in the rear. When I use the smart level and zero it off the tailshaft I get 2* neg on the pinion/housing. If I go off the dshaft in the rear and zero I show a .5 positive working angle. Also both sides of the d shaft are perfect in relation to eachother. If I take a reading at the trans side and zero it the housing side is 0 also. It is on rhino ramps rear and control arms up front as level as I can get it.

Took another set of numbers. This time off the crank pulley using a small square. It read 4.6* I zeroed the level and using the square on the face of the housing it reads
1.7* negative in relation to the crank. Even though the actual pinion is at a positive angle. If I roll the rear higher positive it would lower the 1.7 number taking working angle out of the driveline. If I roll the rear down that would put more angle in the driveline.
