every damn camaro i get the AC compressor goes out this is my 3rd f-body and 3rd compressor to go out on these cars why is this? any body else having these problems?

My compressor went out like 4-5 years ago, it lasted since the car was new in 1998, so it lasted 7 years or so. I had a decision to make. Spend $800 at the dealership for a new compressor with a lifetime parts and labor warranty....or take my chances with cheaper alternatives with 90-day warranties or no warranty at all at a/c shops that can go out of business any day.
I'll never pay a penny for another compressor again (parts or labor) and it'll be a factory part when it does fail. A good, piece of mind decision.
Some things are just better done at the dealer...not many...but certainly this one.
