reverse lock-out is messed up

Default reverse lock-out is messed up

well today when i went to back up, i couldnt get it into reverse. my reverse lock-out would not let me go through. i had to force it through. it still went into reverse just fine i just had to really force it through. all the other gears shift fine too. what could be wrong with it? please help.

When that happened to me it was just a blown fuse. I can't remember which one but if you search a little I know its been mentioned here before.

It's the ENG SEN fuse.

Located in underhood fuse block #2.

If that's the problem. Could also be a wire or a bad solenoid.
