T-56
Hi,
New here...this is my first LSX engine and my first T-56 with a Pro 5.0 shifter. It was rebuilt to Tick Stage III level. I have Mcleod billet hyd linkage and a stock slave cylinder. How do I determine throw on the TO bearing? Is there a standard throw length? THX

TO Bearing Throw
Sorry if I used the wrong nomenclature...."Yes" I do have the McLeod MC...it is billet aluminum with braided line but I only have the factory slave and TO bearing. Is there a rule of thumb for appropriate throw? I ask because I have read here in other threads where guys install everything and upon high RPM shifting they have issues with improper engagement due to insufficient throw on the TO bearing...is this true? Is it as simple as connecting everything, filling with fluid, bleeding and going? No throw lenght to verify? Thanks!
