Default LT1 6 SPD Vega...`

I am Planning on doing a LT1 Swap into a Vega. Would anyone have any information on this or guidelines or anything at all. I Have the Vega and am Trying To buy a 94 Camaro with a 6M so hopefully i will have everything thing i need. I can Get the Motor in the Car but i am a little Sketchy on the Electronics Part of everything. Dont Know how to hook it all up. I heard that you can buy a Painless Wiring Kit for about 650 But really didnt want to spend that much. any Informatoin would be greatful Thanks. Garrett

Go to h-body.org and join the forums. Great bunch of people with tons of knowledge on these cars. I personally have a have a 75 Pontiac Astre with a 350. Pretty simple swap. Same basically as the LT1, w/o the wiring. I think we have an LT1 on the board. We have TPI's, and LS1's for sure.

It's actually pretty simple man..

Basically it's put power to it, ground it in the right spots and send the right signal wires to the Gauges.

What gauges do you plan on using?
How are you doing the Fuel System?

Im not sure about Guages yet i dunno if any of the Vega ones will work Doubt it but i was also thinking about trying to use the stock camaro dash. Dunno. But the Fuel System will just be a stock Pump in a Modified Stock Vega Tank. I talked to a local auto shop that put an LT1 in a 57 Chevy and i got to look at the Tank that is pretty simple really. he is the one who told me about the painless kit but i havent got to talk to him alot cause i know he will know alot about it.
