Default tune with a stall

is it nessary to get it tuned with the stall or can it be driven with out. i have a 3000 stall waiting to put in, but i am still waiting on the money to get it tuned right now so thats why i ask. thanks in advance.

you can drive it fine without a tune. You will not hurt anything.

You wont hurt anything , However there may be some irratic operation as far as shifts and lockup go. And possible intermitant limp mode.
