truck accessory drive/intake
A-body folks,
any problems using truck accessory drive/ and intake w/ steering components? how is hood clearance?

P/S pulley can be close to steering box depending on mounts used, other than that it works great. Use the 105 amp alternator, not the bigger 130 amp one. It should look basically similar to the F body alternator, which will also fit the truck drive. this will save some hood clearance, if it becomes a issue

oh ok thanks, ya im not really worried bout clearance too much, heres another question.
i plan on running the vintage air a/c set up will the A/C pulley work w/ the sandenson compressor( i think thats what is used)

Im using an lq4/4l80e combo in my 71 chevelle. I used the BRP mounts, the AC,PS, all fit just fine. Im going to use the domed SS hood so it isn't a problem.
Used the LH8 oil pan, w/ Edelbrock headers, all seems to fit fine. Had it all mocked up then pulled it to do the frame. Working on new 1/4 panels now.
Im planning on changing the cam/torque convertor and reinstalling it..
