help I am new and lost
I was hope in to run the Magic Stick V.3 237/242 .603/.609" Camshaft.what do i have to do to run that with 243 heads and stock bottom end. can i go to bigger valves then the stock ones

2.02/1.60 are common valves to upgrade to and run in 243 (LS6) heads. As long as they aren't milled or milled too much you shouldn't have to worry about PTV (piston to valve clearance). With stock chamber, unmilled heads, you could even run a .040 cometic to boost compression a bit, or just run factory MLS .051. You'll also want to upgrade the springs (Comp 921 or PRC .660s), pushrods (Chromoly, probably 7.400), ported LS6 oil pump, timing chain (LS2), and replace lifters with LS7 lifters.
With all that you should have a solid combo!
