TH400 needs rebuild what parts to use? I have a TH400 I got in a trade that needs a rebuild, it slips a little once it gets warm. What parts does everyone use in their TH400? I figure on a full rebuild so need info. Also what convertor and flexplate should I use since its going in a 6.0 S10 with 4.10s?

i cant tell you what converter. but tci makes a nice flexplate thats sfi approved. you can find the part number one of the write up in the stickies.
i am running:
alto red eagle clutches through out.
kolene steels.
34 element sprag(may need to get a new drum depending on what kind of sprag you have already)
upgraded pump spring for greater pressure.
with sonax boost vavle and sleeve.
get a shift kit there easy to install.

I have some new GM 6.0L flexplates with the adapter and bolts to use a TH400 (or 4L80E, Th350, etc) behind an LS engine.
Depending on the converter you may have to redrill/slot the holes. The converters I use have a 6 bolt flange that matches the GM flexplate.
