Comp Cams Lsr lobe question
Was interested in new technology, doing research on the new Comp Lsr camshafts.
So... whats up with these Lsr profiles. I really don't see that much difference between some of the older XER lobes.
For example:
269lr HR12 Lobe #'s 13015r/13017r
269/277 advertised | 219/227 @ 0.050" | 143/151 @ 0.200 | 0.357"/0.361"
My XER cam after degreeing, Lobe #'s 3761/3763
269/277 advertised... same | 219/227 @ 0.050"... same | 143/151 @ 0.200...same | 0.356"/0.361...Damn close
So really, are they just changing names to boost sales or is there some voodoo tech I'm missing?
Cam masters please chime in...

So the answer to your question is that the lobes you have were probably proprietary tailored after LSr or vice versa.
