Find an old car using its VIN?
Well over the weekend i picked up a 98 formula. Auto, hardtop, navy blue metallic, tan cloth interior, bone stock and heres the kicker.. a 187,000 on the clock. Runs amazing though and has a brand new trans. Took it to the track last night and it busted out a 13.8 at 103.5mph.. that seems pretty healthy to me! needs a lil paint work and a dent pulled but other than that, the car is going to be beautiful, i already think it is. Got it for cheap, but cant say how much. And yes now i have 2 birds haha.
my first question is, is there a way i can look up the build numbers for this car to see how rare it actually is?
and also my dad pulled out his old window stickers from his 79 TA and his 84 z28 so i wrote down the VIN's and id like to know if there is a search or something where i can enter the VIN's and see where the cars ended up? Im trying to avoid carfax or paying. Just looking for a free search or something.
thanks guys.
