top speed for stock geared M6 no comp. limit
i have a 2000 WS6 and i was just curious about the top end speed. i heard about 6th gear cant go over 134? is this true and why?..a good explanation of this would be great......i have no top speed limit in the computer and my rev limit is at 6390 and i went on a site that u put all the info in and it says 5th gear goes to 193 and 6th 286 (before anyone freaks i know it wont hit that in 6th without flying lol if the aerodynamics could even let it break 180 or 190) so i was just wondering what the top end should be aerodynamics willing and car willing, i dont wanna test it out im only curious lol

i have a dos based program called car test that is really good about telling you stuff like that...
probably being is it wont work with windows xp...so i have no way to run it
my guess is a bolt on car could go 170'ish

I got to 160 with mine lowered 2 1/2 inches in 5th[6th drops to 135 as you noted] on a 3 mile stretch of nice flat highway with a slight slope downward.
One of SLPs driver unlocked [Dont know what his redline was]a Hawk and got it up to 171 or 172 on the transport Canada test track.
Those speeds are a lot more comfortable in a Vette or a Porsche though.

It is .50 overdrive, just way too long for the engine to push.
With the 4.10 and now the 4.11 6th is landed a real nice passing gear,it is no longer only used for highway cruising.
